What is the minimum order quantity for PK386 rice?
The minimum order is 50 MT, and we ship 50–500 MT per consignment in 20' FCL containers (about 25–27 MT each, packed in 50 kg bags). Pre-shipment inspection is free of cost for orders of 5 x 20' FCL and above.
What payment terms do you accept?
Our standard terms are 30% advance by T/T, with the 70% balance by T/T against scanned original documents sent by email. An irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight is available as an alternative, and confirmed quotes are valid for about 48 hours.
How are quantity, quality and fumigation verified?
Quantity, quality and fumigation are final at loading, certified by an independent supervision company (for example SGS or Bureau Veritas). Pre-shipment inspection is free of cost for orders of 5 x 20' FCL and above; a buyer-nominated agency can also be appointed.
How are PK386 rice prices quoted?
Prices are quoted FOB load port Karachi or Port Qasim in US dollars per metric ton, net shipped weight, in 20' containers, and exclude Terminal Handling Charges (THC). We also quote CFR, CIF and DAP Taftan; published figures are indicative and CFR/CIF add freight to your destination port. Request a quote for a firm price.
How long does shipment take?
Shipment is within about 15 working days after a workable payment instrument — a confirmed L/C or advance T/T — is received. Transit time then depends on your destination port, and documents follow within a few working days of vessel departure.
